Hi Alice, I is Fred here with my sis skinny minnie Freya. I has another story to tell you. Mum took us on walks with our friend Coal the Malamute and his mum. It was cold and a little icey but we was having fun crossing fields and jumping streams exploring new paths. We was heading back to the lane but the path to the gate was covered in mud. Mum found a narrow part and jumped over the mud with me a skinny minnie Freya to the gate but Coal and his mum went another way and did sink in the mud. Oh but Alice, it wasnt mud it be cow POOP!!! We did jump back and pull Coal out but his mum was stuck fast. Mum did try throwing rocks to make step stones but they did sink too! Finally we did find some sticks and small planks and Coals mum did dig one foot out. I did think we should call the firemen Alice. They is good at rescuing people. Finally after lots of digging and balancing on the planks, jumping and pulling Coals mum did come unstuck. After jumping two stone walls we got safely to the lane. We did have to wash our paws in a stream on the way home but we did still smell! Skinny minnie Freya was not happy at all. Mum did wash us again when we did get home, but do you know Alice, when Dad came home the first thing he did say to us was Why can I smell cow POOP??? Love Fred x
