Hi All. For those of our friends and family who are interested our race starts in about 10.5 hrs time. 7.30 am Edomonton, Canada time which is 11.30pm Aus time. My race number is 30648 and my wave start is M 40-44 8.13am (12.13pm Monday night/early Tues morning Bris time) Michelle is race number 30783 and her wave start is F 40-44 8.33am (12.33pm Monday night/early Tues morning Bris time). Im not sure that my 20min start will be enough to hold her off so Ill be looking over the Shoulder. Surprisingly I believe some are staying up or getting up to track things so here is a link to the live site. Not sure if there is tracking but apparently via internet the finish line is live streaming! triathlon.org/live Michelle and I this was a goal that we set in late 2013. For me Im pleased because my chance to do this when I was serious about this great sport, back in early 90s, was taken away from me so now I can finally prove something to myself that has been a long time waiting. For my beautiful wife she has achieved some great things in a very short space of time. For those that truly know her, they will know that this is no surprise and out there tomorrow I know she will also realise that. Many of our new friends have been her at the Worlds many times over and they all have committed to their goals. Michelle did her first Enticer race just under 2 years ago, her first Olympic less then 18 months ago, her first full season 12 months ago. Prior to this she had never swam more then mucking around, had never ridden a bike other then around the park! I cant express properly how proud I am of her! Michelle, I might be hard on you at times and expect a lot but that is only because I know you can. Love you sweet! Time for some shut eye and rest! Nighty night.
