Hi All, My friend Venkteswar Rao and I, during our yesterdays morning run in Kakinadas Vivekananda park, noticed so much plastic waste just by the side of walking lane. When we inquired the park security, we came to know it was lying there since Diwali celebrations and cited that there was no manpower to clean the park. Feeling concerned, both of us requested the guard for any broomsticks and finally he obliged to offer, though after lot of reluctance. Initially only we two people did cleaning yesterday and we continued our efforts this morning as well, when others also joined us. Thanks for all ! Surprisingly, yesterday, it was captured by popular Telugu daily Eenadu reporter. Thanks brother for your positive journalism. After seeing the paper, many appreciated us. Even, an NGO called us and told the Municipal corporation reacted and cleaned the park, have to see tomorrow how well they cleaned. Its a very simple effort from our side, but great feeling. I request everyone, to do our part to make our surroundings clean and obviously CLEAN INDIA. Jai Hind.
