Hi All The EFTPOS service has been operating in over twenty businesses on Niue and while there have been some teething problems, the majority have been resolved. Some businesses have been experiencing minor technical issues; however, we are fortunate to have Telecom Niue providing the technical support to businesses operating EFTPOS services on the island. A workshop will be held next week Wednesday 18th September 2013 at the Niue Golf Club from 4.30pm where businesses will have the opportunity to raise any issues/problems around EFTPOS services. It is also an opportunity for other businesses that haven’t got EFTPOS for their businesses to hear from a business currently operating EFTPOS service. The workshop will include a teleconference with Kristy Gregory of EFTPOS NZ, who looks after EFTPOS services on Niue. Although she is unable to be here, she is happy to be part of the discussion via telephone and would be able to provide answers to questions surrounding EFTPOS Services. Also attending the workshop will be the Director of Telecom Niue and the technician responsible for providing technical support for the EFTPOS service. They will be there to answer any issues surrounding the support services for EFTPOS on Niue. In preparing for the open discussion next Wednesday, we kindly request to businesses operating the EFTPOS service if you could identify and submit to us any technical issues/concerns you might have with EFTPOS.
