Hi Book Lovers! We need Volunteer Writers! For those of you who want to try to write your own short stories and have them turned into short Movies, this is your chance! Our non-profit group AlterNation is into developing fiction stories about Philippine society and making them into Videos for a Cause. We make stories about Filipino protagonists (heroes and heroines) who witness or go through some of the problems of Philippine society, help overcome them, and will always fight the good fight! Our stories give inspiration and hope! The genre can be anything from adventure, fantasy or science fiction! We will make our stories into short Movies! Once we have finished a Movie, we will post in in you tube and show it for free to some high schools and colleges! Ill tell you about our media campaign when we meet! If you volunteer, the following will be our activities: 1. You will be asked to join our Creative Writing Group that is currently developing a Script for our first Movie! There will be story conferences as we brain-storm on how to make this story great! :) This is a collaborative effort and we will combine our ideas to produce the best story we can! We already have a draft outline but we really need help in further developing the whole story! You may also help in writing some portions of the Script! This is a really good experience for all aspiring creative writers! 2. After we finish the Story for the First Movie, you will then be free to write your own short stories and we will also turn these into short movies later! Meetings are usually only once a month on a weekend at Trinoma, UP Dilman, or Katipunan. We hope you can join us! I really believe that there is a writer in each one of us!
