Hi, CRC friends! Heres what I do when I am not spreading good cheer at the CRC page :) : QUEST Horsemanship, Inc. (QUEST) is the only program of its kind listed in western NY. QUEST combines clients with and without disabilities, trained volunteers, and experienced, certified professional instructors in sessions based on classical dressage principles. Regardless of ability or disability, our riders and on-the-ground clients are equally valid contributors. We aim for more support and referral from local medical, mental health and wellness professionals by showing them in invite-only demonstrations what our growing community can do. We are a network of support for families struggling with autism, PTSD, brain injury and many, many other labeled disabilities-- and observation of QUESTs vibrant community begs the question, how important are those label? QUESTs main goal is to shift PERCEPTION of these amazing groups of people, from isolating their differences, toward what they can all achieve together!
