Hi Community!! I was approached yesterday by Karla that works at the pharmacy. She has a neighbour that lives behind her on the Mata Cana road, he is an young (20) blind man who also supports a family and a young baby (6 months) on his small pension of 75000 a month. Leonardo y Mylin are their names. This month his pension did not come through and he must reapply/resolicit. Heres the point, they are hurting and need help RAPIDO, so in liue of asking for money they need food and infant formula , specifically Isomil. Food gifts and only food gifts are being accepted by our wonderful postmistress Giselle at the post office. So if you have it in your heart and are in town, pop in to the post office and see what is there then as you leave with your shopping from town maybe drop off an extra bag of rice or formula or oil or whatever you can. Its a real family in our community that needs a hand up, not a hand out.
