Hi Eagles friends, A quick update: Congratulations to the 9 members that joined us last week! We are happy to have you and look forward to getting to know you better. Officer nominations happened and we have 3 open positions, 2 (Board of ) Trustees positions and Conductor. Trustees are crucial to the business side of the Eagles, so if you are a leader with a business mind, please let us know if you can help! 1st & 3rd Thursdays meeting of the Board are 6-7pm and the Aerie meets from about 7:30-8:30/9. Conductor is needed only during the Aerie meetings. Here are your 2014-2015 Officers: President - Rochelle Nelson Haberl Vice President - Kathy Torrence (backfilling Christi Allison of whom we have other things in mind for using her talents!) Secretary - Kerri Walsh Treasurer - Seth Thompson Conductor - OPEN Chaplain - Lisa Muth Inside Guard - Sheila Dwyer Trustee - Yelena Dagaev Trustee - Kellie Jordan Trustee - Sunday Stray Trustee- OPEN Trustee - OPEN If you are interested in helping out, please inquire and attend the next Aerie meeting May 1st at 7:30pm. Thanks and we look forward to the upcoming year! Many of us will be attending the Eagles State Convention representing Kirkland #2681 in mid-June. This is a good opportunity to learn about leadership in the fraternal order and make relationships on many levels. We will report back, but its also timed so that it is at the beginning of our June terms and Seth and Yelena will be participating for the first time. If its like last year, we will probably be recognized for our positive recruiting :)
