Hi Everybody! Wow, another wonderfully fulfilling and very busy week of helping people with their legal problems. With dozens of files on the go, there is much excitement (and little sleep) happening. Earlier this week, I met with two hard-working employees who were summarily dismissed without notice or pay-in-lieu. Yesterday, I helped a tenant to settle a matter for about half the amount sought by a former landlord. Today, I successfully represented in a Small Claims matter and helped a private lender to receive judgment plus a significant costs penalty against borrowers who failed to repay a debt. Most importantly, Ive hired on a new part-time assistant who really knows her stuff so dont be surprised if you call and find Crystal Gallant now answering my phone lines.
