Hi Everyone, Apparently the seasons are changing- Maybe the change is only applying to sports as basketball cricket and tennis wound up locally over the weekend and footy and netty training is off and running. Balaklava swimming pool will also close in the next week or so but we were VERY glad to have it hot on Sunday with a 7year old girl’s birthday party there instead of at home- that was a lot of noise that would have hurt the ears if it was restricted indoors!. Easter is coming and Tuesday afternoon we take delivery of our first gluten-free hot cross buns- I am a little excited because I really miss that sweet bun thing. Let me know if you want any put aside (first come, first served though) and whether you prefer traditional, fruitless or chocolate. We will also take orders for future delivery too. The specials this week are- • Bananas- $1.89 per kilo • Red Delicious Apples- $2.99 per kilo • IceBerg Lettuce - $1.79 each • Button Mushrooms- $7.99 per kilo • Sweet Potato- $2.79 per kilo • Prepack Brussel Sprouts- $1.99 each • Strawberries- 2 punnets for $7 • Cadbury Dark, Milk or White Chocolate buds 500g- $3.99 • Cadbury Dark, Milk or White chocolate buds 1kg- $8.00 And in the Nutritional Harmony Lines- • Salted Peanuts 500g- $4.80 each FYI: Mandarines have come back in. Still waiting on Pink Lady Apples to start, sorry! Did you know: Our 2.5kg potatoes are currently $4.69, our 5kg are $6.99- probably the best you’ll get at the moment. It is so easy to put in an order and have your fruit and veg delivered! A Price list and order forms are attached to our email. You can use this to place an order by phone or fax or email, for pick up or delivery- however we can help you! Delivery for retail customers is available to your home or workplace- Balaklava on any shop day, Owen on Thursdays and then Port Wakefield is available on Mondays and Fridays, Lochiel on Friday. Wednesday delivery to Bowmans is available so don’t be afraid to ask. If you would like delivery in the surrounding areas let us know and we will see if we can swing by when in the area! Facebookers can use a word document if you like. You can fax, phone, email or drop off an order but if you do email, please give us a quick call if it is needed on the same day and you haven’t received a confirmation email so we know to go online. The night before you want an order is usually fine though.
