Hi Everyone, Great news !!! Mama Sweet Hazel Karmas time had run out at 5pm yesterday with no one coming forward to rescue or foster her in an area where the kill rate is over 95% and mamas to be quickly move to the top of the euthanizing list. At 130 am last night myself and a handful of caring people were still working at it and I applied a tag for custody to the shelter and the karma was there for this mama to be as at 546am the stars sent back a tag of commit for her to be able to be picked up by our people at 1030 am today....... OH my gosh, the tears rolled down my cheeks. As they only release dogs on Tuesday and Fridays and her time was up at 5pm on Tuesday.. you all really sent great energy and prayers for this poor, scared mama to be. We have gotten custody of mama to be Sweet Hazel Karma at 1030 this morning, thank goodness and now she is at the vets. We still do not have a foster local to her in TX so we have to pay to board her until we can get transport to our own LLLF volunteer, Gina and family that lives in TN whom has committed to taking her once we can find a transport from TX to TN. The energy is right for this mama, she is so close to having the wee ones and we hope she can wait until we can now get her from the boarding situation at the vets in TX to TN. Pictures are her being released from jail at the pound where she was guilty of being a stray and pregnant which was very close to being the death penalty.
