Hi Everyone, I feel the need to talk about responsible pet ownership and how this is achieved. As some of you already know, Im a vet nurse and I see some horrific situations bought about by irresponsible pet owners. I am constantly saying, whats wrong with people, I hear owners say, oh its just a cat, which makes my blood boil! What I learnt over time though is that some people are truly ignorant of what it takes to look after an animal. I hear you scream, Ignorance is no excuse!. It never ceases to amaze and gobsmack me on what people honestly dont know, things that are second nature to some of us. So instead of getting angry, (mostly), I try and educate. There are always going to be some people you cant reach, but the beauty of a group like this is that someone who may not know that much about cats, but still loves them can communicate with people with more experience. If you push them away, then they may be getting no guidance at all
