Hi Everyone, I found out about this group through another member Tim Muldoon. I am very happy to be here! I live just outside Fairbanks, Alaska and have a kennel of mostly Malamutes, with a few Mal crosses included. I am very interested in traditional and village dogs and love history. This spring we sold almost all of our Alaskan Huskies who will be enjoying life and training for the Yukon Quest with a fabulous young man who lives near the Canadian border. It will be interesting to follow him because my plan is to run the Quest next year as well with our Malamute team. Ive wanted to do this for several years and now with a smaller kennel and good things on the horizon I think it can come together. Our blog is ouralaskalife I will be posting pics of the new pups - two of who went to the school I work at for a presentation on Iditarod and Malamutes of course! Except for the two classes I had them, I didnt see them for the rest of the day. They were easy to find though because I just had to listen for the girlie screech followed by OMG!! They are soooooo cute. LOL I look forward to seeing some beautiful dogs on here!!
