Hi Everyone, I would like to ask if any of you have had to struggle with Lyme disease with your fjords? I am from Connecticut which Im afraid is sort of the heart of lyme disease country and it is extremely common. My mare, Noel has a bad case of chronic lyme and has been struggling with it for a very long time. She does not show any of the typical symptoms (lameness, for example), and there is no way to really know that she is sick without testing for it over and over again, but when her levels get too high, she is very vulnerable for serious neurological episodes and can be quite scary. This is a long story, and I can certainly tell it at some point, but for now, I am just wondering if anyone else is coping with chronic lyme and if anyone else has had the experience of neurological episodes associated with it.
