Hi Everyone, Just checking in. Im going through 220 pages of edits that I have to accept under tracking changes in Microsoft Word. The editor has made a bazillion small changes in the verb tense. I wrote it in current tense, hes changed it to past tense. I thought I had to click on every single change to accept it and there could be 75-100 changes per page. About 150 pages through, I found that I could accept blocks of text changes, and now Im sailing through it. Now I know, lol. Because this book has been condensed to roughly half of its original size, some of it is choppy. I need to fill in the blanks here and there to make it a better read. Gosh, I had no idea how much work would go into it. Thats okay, I forge onward. Then there is the emotional piece of this. Every time I work on the manuscript, I have to relive it. Parts of it I intentionally left a little vague in order to protect the guilty. I have some more praying to do and possibly some legal consultation will be needed as well. I have taken my time as I rode out the holidays after I got fired from my job. Ive never been fired before, but I truly believe that this is something that God allowed in order to change my path as I could have stayed at that company for the rest of my life going nowhere for the kingdom. I had to wrap my mind around these things that occurred and that took some time. Please forgive my delay, but My Story His Glory is of paramount importance. Every time I think Im done, there is more to do. Next time I write a book, I will have a much better picture of what goes on and I will have it completed sooner.
