Hi Everyone, On Thursday the 27th of March at County Hall Carmarthen, members of the CUSC met with Councillors Colin Evans and Jeff Edmunds. Also present were County officers Jonathan Fearn, Richard Workman and Paul Murray. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the alleged pitch/green fee shortfall. After a heated debate we have agreed to work together to find the best solution for the people of Carmarthenshire. Pitch fees will remain frozen at 2013/14 prices until proper consultation is carried out with all parties involved in Asset Transfer. This will be a long process as CCC cannot provide maintenance figures for the last financial year until June. We have been assured that once proper consultation has taken place this issue will be brought before full council. Our next meeting will be after the next Executive Board meeting in April. We will keep you informed of our progress. Cheers, Mike
