Hi Everyone, We thought we would use this time to update you on some of the work of our friends over at Independent Parental Special Education Advice (IPSEA) a national charity that provides free independent legal advice for parents, and carers to help get the right education for children with SEN/D. We here at EDCM understand the difficulties of being a parent irregardless of disability, but IPSEA provide free advice on a range of subjects such as exclusion from school, home/school transport, proposed statements as well as a dedicated tribunal helpline. If you have concerns and need some extra help you can contact IPSEA on 0800 018 4016. They line is open every weekday from 10am – 4pm and again from 7pm -9pm.
