Hi, Everyone, and Joyous Lords Day!! I decided I cant leave a strange, unsolved mystery swinging in the air. So, now, instead of being the victim, Ill put on Sherlocks hat. I couldnt reach anyone several times and no call backs from the hospital, that I was recently a patient in, and didnt get anywhere trying to contact the clinic where my follow-up appt will be either. I am not a stranger to being set afloat on my own life raft, with no land in sight! Lol. I felt God say( inside me), We got this. So I started looking online under thought disorder. After quite a few subjects, I came across medications that can interfere with thought processes, making connections, and acting on things. Well, bless my soul! I found me! Turns out this medicine for high cholesterol they gave me in the hospital is not supposed to be paired with a blood pressure med I take. And, if they are used together, the cholesterol med should not be more than 10 mg at most. My bottle said 40 mg!! Oy!! I took a nap, and, when I awoke, I realized I DID know the difference between an eyeliner and a toothbrush, and what each was used for! I got up, and, gradually I understood more n more things. Prism had given up all hope when she picked up an eyeliner pencil and demonstrated what it was for, and there was no spark there at all. She said, Stop looking at me like that, like a deer in the headlights! Lol. Needless to say, she was amazed that I was quickly throwing things into a bag, coralling the cats and dogs, etc. Returned from the land of The Little Mermaid, where forks are for combing your hair!! So this story ended happily ever after, or at least until the NEXT night in the motel lobby after a wedding. A 70 person fight broke out, the police were here, and the little flower girl and ring bearer were quickly hustled out the door. I felt so sad for them, being part of, and seeing a happy occasion turn nto a nightmare. Im praying the bride and groom are on a beautiful tropical paradise, far, far away, and the wedding party is just a dim memory! Speaking of prayers, I KNOW, without a doubt, YOUR prayers and thoughts helped turn the tide for me. ( And, btw, Nancy Callison, Im also thinking about what you mentioned bc I am at risk). Youre such a caring nurse, even to those who ARENT your patients. Thank you all. I truly love ya!!!!!!
