Hi Everyone from here in Wallsend. You really should come to - TopicsExpress

Hi Everyone from here in Wallsend. You really should come to visit this part of the northeast - the beaches and coastal paths are a well-kept secret from what I saw of them this morning on my ride south from Alnwick, and I hardly saw a soul as I worked my way along Cycle Route 1. Tomorrow finds me riding to Easby, near Richmond - quite a long day in the saddle, but I must remind myself that I have all day to achieve the ride, that I can enjoy the views along the way and that I do have the option to stop if I need to! It feels strange and yet really satisfying to be working my way closer to home and those I love, and to think of the distance Ive already covered. (Around 350 miles, possibly a little more!) I spent a fantastic afternoon working with students at Burnside Enterprise College, talking to them about PurpleVocals, Sarahs Spirit and the life of a professional musician. Ive been made so welcome and I hope that Ill be able to come back here soon. (I must thank my friends Selwyn Thompson and Ken Clark for arranging my visit and my accommodation.) Tonight I worked with Selwyn once again as he conducted the Wallsend Community Choir and I received a donation of £205 for Sarahs Spirit. I cant thank you enough for your generosity and for singing so beautifully and from your hearts. You are a shining example of how to communicate - especially in your honest and straightforward use of text. What a joy to hear a choir singing with such passion! Meanwhile my bike has been magnificent, my bodys holding up well - Ive never felt fitter or more upright with my stance, and my jeans are feeling pretty loose in spite of some very large meals! Long may it continue.... See you tomorrow everybody and thanks for the continued support! justgiving/purplevocals Paul. X
