Hi Everyone, would appreciate some advice on this matter please. I have a house on the market and has an offer accepted on it and is with the solicitors at the moment. My solicitor has just sent over a pre-contact enquiry which is this; We note from the Proprietorship Register that your client bought the property in April 2014 for £63,750. Please advise why your client proposes to sell the property after 3 months. Our client believes there have not been any works carried out to the property. In the circumstances, please confirm what works have been carried out to the property during your clients ownership to warrant the increase in value to £99,950. ------------------------------------------------ Is this a real question?? What i brought it for and what they are buying it for is entirely different. £100k is the market value, too bad you didnt do a marketing campaign to get to vendors directly, stop them from being repossessed by writing to judge and lenders, and purchase it cash because no lenders would lend on the property. Anyone else come across this?
