Hi FFC. Though many of you do not know me in person, I really would love some prayers from you all. See heres the rundown of whats going on. I have two pure bred golden retrievers which I procured as puppies from a long line of service dogs. My girls are five years old now, and I love them like no other animal I have ever owned. These dogs of mine were official certified service dogs, but have since home into early retirement. We originally got them die to a severe case of PTSD I went through. As service dogs, their price tag, training, and management was not cheap to say the least. They are the most loving sweet-hearted animals I have ever owned. They STILL to this day do their jobs, even though it isnt demanded of them any longer. (One of the main unique jobs they have is waking me from terrible nightmares to name one of many) Onto the prayer request part. My dog Bellie is very weak and feverish. She has been very sick in large part due to an abscess about the size of a half dollar located right on her throat. When we shaved the bloody hair away and cleaned it up with hydrogen peroxide she didnt even have the strength to whimper though you could tell it stung. I am beside myself with worry, for my little angel service dog. And I cant distract myself enough from worst case scenario thoughts enough to stop the tears. Weve done what we can here at home, and obviously I will call the vet first thing tomorrow morning, but there is a blizzard ripping through my state currently, and as a result, we might not be able to get her in :( all I ask is that she has the strength to keep at it until we can get her their. But I also know, one cannot leave abscesses on dogs. It would almost definitely kill her untreated. :( her sister wont leave her side and often groans and whimpers that we give them almost constant attention. In short, I am really really scared and I need prayer. This dog isnt just some pet, she has saved my life, and I mean literally saved my life enough times to lose count! So please give prayers!
