Hi, Galen here, please take the time to read this entire post. Im going to start posting a new worship song here each week for your enjoyment. We not only need to gather for worship on Sundays, but we need to make time to worship God on our own. Heres what Id like you to do: Take some time to listen to the song, soaking up the words. then listen to it again, but this time, if you can, find a quiet place where you can use the song to worship. Crank the song up and dim the lights! Sing at the top of your lungs and pour your heart out to God! Worship can be a lot of things, but most importantly it is adoring our heavenly Father and hearing Him speak into our lives. This first song Im going to introduce is called, The King is Among Us by Elevation Worship. Before you listen to this song, you can read Nehemiah chapter 1. Nehemiah prays for Jerusalem and talks with God, which is worship. When you listen to and sing this song, sing it like a prayer for yourself, for DNA Church, and for our city.
