Hi Guys, So we are only 11 days away until the broadcast so I’m just gonna update you on a few things.. First off team sign ups and show proposals are now closed. Anyone who wants to get involved with this years broadcast and hasn’t done so thus far should get in contact with people here who need help with their shows, be it onscreen or off (for pre-recorded shows only). People who have been trained in studio and backstage are the only people allowed to work backstage and in the studio. If you are doing a live show you will be assigned trained camera operators, a sound team, a vision mixer operator and other trained crew members upon request. Same thing goes for all backstage content so anyone who has been trained in one or the other (or both), be sure to check your emails over the next week/weekend as we will be taking your availability for the broadcast and scheduling you to a show/shows accordingly. As I said we are just 11 days away for the broadcast, by now for pre-recorded content I would expect that some progress has been made on the production side of your video. I will be in contact with you all by the end of the week, by now you should all know if your show has been approved or not. Please note if I get no response from the email I send out by the end of the week your show slot on this years broadcast will be in jeopardy. The deadline for each show to be completed is strictly on Wednesday December 3rd. Any show submitted after that date will not be accepted and will be replaced with another. The broadcast is one of the best things you will do in DCU, I promise you that… Although the rules outlined above are very strict please be aware that these deadlines are there for a reason. If you are worried that your show is possibly not going to happen please contact myself or mark (glenn@dcutv or mark@dcutv) as we would rather know now then on the week/day of the broadcast to allow for show slot adjustments. I cannot wait for this years broadcast and with the team we have here I am more then confident we are gonna hit our target this year :-) Love Media? Love MPS!
