Hi Guys, We have received an email from Kiwirail regarding the preservation of a DC Locomotive, here is the email: As you are aware we are bringing in new rolling stock and refreshing our fleet – this will result in surplus locomotives, including the DC fleet. As a Crown entity we are obligated to act commercially and we will be tendering locomotives for sale later in the year, perhaps early in the new year. We will make you aware of this process for you to participate in should you chose to do so. {END} When the tendering of locomotives start, we will most likely become a trust then.
