Hi I am looking for 8+ families to sign up for the Computers In Homes, they dont have to go to have students in Brockville school it will be held there though..... It is available to everybody!! Wahooooo. Have a look on the Computers In Homes website computersinhomes.org.nz/ The criteria is to not have an up to date computer. Places are offered to parents at the school first then opened to the wider community. There is a cost of $50 which is to be paid the the school by the end of the training. Training is 20 hours spread over 8 weeks @ 2.5 hours per class. It is flexible for either an evening or day class. Participants receive a recycled computer which comes with a new keyboard, mouse and speakers. It has the Microsoft Office suite installed and they may take up a discounted internet connection for a year. We usually have an info/ sign up evening a week before we start.
