Hi I am new to this page. I was wondering if any of you are aware of what is happening with Common Core? We are homeschooling our children after learning MUCH about Common Core and its many facets. I want to share with you all why you should be involved in understanding what is happening across our nation in the public schools and in some cases even Catholic private schools. Many educators are crying out to us RIGHT NOW!!! We must be cognitive of who is representing us and our rights in our states. The intention of Common Core is that eventually and sooner than later, HOMESCHOOLERS will also be mandated to subject to the Common Core standards (or what ever they decide to name it to get us to buy it). A lot of foot work has been and is being done on this subject and is available all over the internet. HOMESCHOOL RIGHTS ARE BEING THREATENED!!!!!! I have tried to get public school moms to see the truth about Stop Common Core in Sheri Few for Stop Common Core in South Carolina so they will move on behalf of their childrens futures and their future generations. They are all too busy to care it seems. So in an attempt to awaken the HEARTS OF HOMESCHOOL MOMS AND DADS I beg of you, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION. I have homeschooled in the past and I know the heart and sacrifice of homeschool moms and dads. You are the most passionate group of people I have ever encountered and it is that passion for our children that will make the difference in what our future looks like!!!!! We must fight at local levels and show up at our state capitols!!!! Make it homeschool lesson and kill two birds with one stone!!!!!!!
