Born and raised in East Hartford, CT, his first passion in life was playing soccer. But after finding his passion and avenue to create through dance, he started traveling to New York City to train with some of the industries best. Within the first two months of pursuing the career, he found himself on stage dancing for Wynter Gordon. Shortly after he caught the eye of well-respected choreographer Rhapsody James and became a part of her intense and highly educational commercial dance program Motivating Excellence. In the remainder of his time on the East Coast, he remained busy by balancing dancing with different artists to teaching in his hometown area at Julie Lang Studio of Dance, and Anita Deprey School of Dance. In addition, he was on a search to break down the competition between local studios who all had potential great talent. Creating open classes for anyone to come learn, no matter what studio you regularly attend and bringing the dance community together to grow as one in CT was one of his biggest goals. He is still working very hard on this today with the help of Double Up Dance Group and other hard working individuals in the dance community of CT. Planning out the rest of his career was easy with the big stage in mind, and after moving to Los Angeles, California, he maintained his hardworking mentality in order to continue his success. Within his first year he appeared on his first television gig with Mariah Carey and was able to work with one of his dance idols and legend Eddie Morales. James continues to remain a student through each and every process in order to continually grow and push himself further and to one day give back everything he has learned to dancers who are as hungry to perform as he is.
