A very positive post from a supporter was left on the wall earlier today: I wanted to share something that happened at work last week. About 10:30p, Wednesday night, I took a phone call from a lady whose two dogs had just been in a pretty nasty fight. She went on to state that she was 95 years old and unable to lift the injured dog into her car, and asked if there was anyone who could drive to her home and help her. I informed her that we werent able to drive to her home, but that she might try calling the police department to request assistance. An hour later, a Stockton police officer pulls into our parking lot as an old El Camino is parking. Not only did this officer respond, he escorted the lady to our hospital, helped the lady (who was relying heavily on a walker) into the office, got her seated, then went and got her dog out of the car. When everyone was situated, he asked if he should stay to help with anything else. He was given the go ahead to head back out, but said that hed come back if necessary. In short, I want to say that for all the negativity we hear in the media regarding police, we rarely, if ever hear about the positive things they do to serve the community. Thank you, Stockton Officer J. Griffin, for your service and dedication. Jennifer, technician at Stockton Vet Emergency and Specialty Center Unlike
