Hi! I just wanted to give everyone an update on Barry. While his surgery was supposed to start at 7:15, it actually didn’t start until 9:28. They had to take time to stabilize his neck (to prevent further injury to the herniated disc) and to make sure he was hooked up to all of the necessary monitors so they could accurately monitor his vitals. He also needed extra intravenous ports so if they had to administer medicine to keep him stable they could do so. But all those extra precautions paid off!! BARRY IS OUT OF SURGERY AND STABLE!! PRAISE GOD!!! The tumor was slightly larger than a golf ball but they were able to remove all of it as well as the entire adrenal gland all while keeping him stable. They were also able to do it minimally invasively. The next few days will be critical as they continue to monitor his vitals so I am going to ask for continued prayers as he recovers. Zach is here with me and we are waiting to be able to see Barry. I will send out another update later. Thanks so much for all of the prayers and love! With much gratitude, Sherryl
