Hi! Ive had an old Swedish Svalan gentlemen bike for some time now, and its been somewhat a project to restore into ridable condition. Lots of parts were already not original when I acquired the bike, for example the whole rear wheel, saddle and since that Ive also had to replace the crankset and pedals. However, I havent been able to figure out the age of the bike. Some local old bike shop people have estimated that it would be from the switch of 1950s-1960s but Ive started thinking it could be much older, even from 1930s perhaps, figuring from the frame geometry and other details. Here are some photos, if anyone could help me in finding out the bikes real age, Id be very grateful.
