Hi! Just wanted to give you a little feedback about the alumni meet we had last Friday. It was a good effort from the organizers but there are some things we didnt quite enjoy. Please take this in the right sense because I only want a much better program from you next time :) Firstly, the song performed by the band was really enjoyable, but the slideshow not so much! We came there to refresh our old wonderful memories and see familiar faces, but the slideshow seemed to have only current students, dont think any of us alumni knew any of them and could relate to any of that, if youd have asked us, wed have been happy to share our old pics/videos as well. And Im sure the university has a lot of old photos and videos of programs. I didnt quite understand the purpose of the game which was guess which course the person is studying in. I dont know what the game meant or how it made any sense. Were we supposed to look at them and go by stereotype? :/ The compere couldve have been MUCH better! The long speeches about Manipal university was far too long and boring, sorry to put it this way, but I think those make more sense in an orientation than an alumni meet. The saddest part of this entire event was that, while being a fashion student, when the department was still functioning, we the students and the faculty were very much part of every activity of the college and collected accolades for the university, but in this function we came to know that our faculties were not even invited!!!!! I have to say this, that its like we really dont belong at all. I hope you understand and make sure theres a better effort taken for the next event. Thank you.
