Heres more information about the event: Mid-Maryland Mission of Mercy & Health Equity Festival WHAT: The Mid-MD MOM & Health Equity Festival is a collaborative effort by the dental and health care community, Catholic Charities of Washington and the Maryland Center for Health Equity, School of Public Health to provide free emergency dental care (cleanings, fillings, extractions and root canals) and wraparound health and social servicesto the poor and underserved in our area but we need your HELP! The Mid-MD MOM is run entirely by volunteers. Over 800 volunteers both clinical and non-clinical will be needed. Please consider supporting this much needed service. We welcome organizations and student groups who may want to volunteer together. WHERE: University of Maryland Comcast Center, College Park, MD. WHEN: Patient Services will be provided on September 5-6th, 2014; September 4th is “set-up”. Students are highly encouraged to register and participate in this exciting new UMD initiative! There will be health screenings, vision screenings, comprehensive dental care, and more. Don’t miss it!
