Hi Mr. (Science Teacher) - After watching the video on the link - TopicsExpress

Hi Mr. (Science Teacher) - After watching the video on the link you sent me and knowing that this is something that my son is having to watch as part of the class curriculum, it spurred me to write up some homework questions of my own for you: 1. How many years of data are used for current climate models? 2. How far back have temperatures been recorded? 3. Is the current warming trend unprecedented during the time in which temperatures have been recorded? 4. Is CO2 the only thing that could contribute to climate change? 5. What other factors could cause climate change? 6. How accurate have climate models been in predicting our weather/climate? 7. What is the Medieval Warm Period? 8. How does the temperature during the Medieval Warm Period compare to our current temperatures? 9. What could have contributed to the climate change during the Medieval Warm Period? 10. What is the proper/perfect temperature that the world should be at? 11. What percentage of the atmosphere is made up of CO2? 12. What kind of increase in CO2 is necessary to result in 1 degree of global warming? 13. What bad things could happen if temperatures increases to above what they are today? 14. What good things could happen if temperatures increases to above what they are today? 15. What is the climate of Greenland like today? How were Vikings able to colonize Greenland and plant vineyards around 800-1300 AD? I assume that you probably wont bother to look into this, but I would think that these types of questions would lead to the curiosity and interest in climate change that the curriculum claims to be encouraging. I have to assume that you are simply teaching what the curriculum requires, but I would hope that science teachers like yourself would question a viewpoint that is not proven to be accurate. On the contrary, many people, including a co-founder of Greenpeace, have spoken out against this scam, as well as documented proof that data was fudged in order to produce results that climate scientists wanted. Im happy to speak to you more at length about this. Thank you for hearing my concerns.
