Hi, Mr Taliban! Quite a commotion youve caused, haina? What is it - TopicsExpress

Hi, Mr Taliban! Quite a commotion youve caused, haina? What is it now? 135? 136 civilians dead. Thats quite an impressive number, even for you. It must have been fun, right? Oh, I bet a few of them probably cried for their mothers as the light left their eyes. That would have been the best, right? So now that the elation of senseless massacre has died down, how do you feel? Accomplished? Fearless? Like youve proven a point? Like youve shown the world how jaw droppingly powerful you can be? Going through my newsfeed, I see a lot of words to describe you. Strong, isnt one of them. Its funny Mr Taliban. All these people in my friendlist. I hope you can excuse them, but all they see you as is....desperate. Because, Mr Taliban, yours was not an act of a freedom fighter valiantly fighting his oppressors. Yours was the act of a man being humiliated on the streets and going home to beat his daughters. So government establishments and military outposts are a little bit more than you can swallow. I understand. Yes, an undefended school does seem like a very logical target. But you know, Mr Taliban, Ive lived in this country for very long. And in all this time, Ive very rarely seen people from all corners of this country voice an opinion this unanimously (Unless its about cricket). You see, Mr Taliban. After a very, VERY long time, youve given this country a common enemy. And honestly? It takes quite an effort to make that happen. Maybe before today, there might have been a handful of Pakistanis scattered around who thought peace with you was a good idea. Now? Now a nation of 170 million people wants you dead. Without remorse. Without compromise, Good luck with...stuff. Have a nice day, Mr Taliban! Courtesy: Wajeeh Sohail
