Hi Richard, Big news: McDonalds just announced that they wont buy genetically engineered (GE) apples! This is a big deal because if theyre rejecting one GE food, they could easily reject a second one, too, and say no to GE potatoes. As the number one purchaser of potatoes in the United States, McDonalds might just keep the GE potato off the market entirely if they reject it before its approved. We need your help to turn up the pressure on McDonalds. Weve already got over 83,000 signatures (including yours!) on our petition asking them to say no to GE potatoes. Before we deliver the petition to them next week, we want to hit an impressive 100,000 signatures! Thats an ambitious goal, to reach 100,000 in the next few days, but if you help, I think we can do it.
