Hi Runners Details for this week - Gnoocardup Killer Date 6/7/13 Time 7am Place End of Kilcarnup Rd, which is off Caves north of Wallcliffe. Anyone who has a favourite we havnt done yet this year, just ask for it, or send me a new route. Anyway we went wrong last time. At 5.6km you jump over a small brook, and then you can veer left along the path behind the sand dunes, or right down to the beach. Left is wrong - believe me, its easier on the beach. Flat and sandy, not hilly and sandy. That was the mistake last year. Also when you reach the end of the beach keep running along the coast (take the right most track), and then take the next (and only) track out - which is the Joeys nose track. It is true that this is a tough run. I think I will ask the stronger runners to double back, so we dont get too separated, or to put direction markers down. 9km Coming Up - Coastal run We have a request for a one way run from Boranup to Redgate - so we might do that in three of four weeks in the afternoon. We done this last year, and it was fun. New Links I have linked to the small map. I believe you dont need to be a member to get this. Membership is free anyway. You can also download a gpx file to your phone,and that might help if you are nervous at getting lost. I am concerned that some people might be missing out because the fear of getting lost.
