Hi USTET Takers 2014! Here are my tips for you guys. Hope this helps and may the odds be ever in your favor! :) 1. Get enough sleep. Youll need it so you wont get irritated during the exam. 2. Bring all the requirements needed on your testing day. Hassle kasi kung uuwi ka pa (especially kung malayo bahay nyo sa UST) plus expect heavy traffic. Before ka umalis ng bahay, double check everything! Much better kung ipeprepare mo na lahat the night before. TEST PERMIT, pencil(s), sharpener, cellphone w/ load, eraser, money, jacket and anything that can keep you alive. (y) 3. Umbrella. Necessity na yan lalo na ngayon rainy season. Seryoso, ilagay mo yan agad sa bag mo. :)) 4. Eat before going to your respective testing rooms. The USTET lasts for 4-5 hours. You wouldnt want to get hungry during that time, right? So eat enough food and bring water. You can bring food and eat it there if you want :) 5. Kung may na-miss ka na question, dont fret. Balikan mo yung mga question(s) na di mo nasagutan kung may spare time ka :) 6. Wag mag-shotgun. 7. Refresh your memory. Recall all the lessons you learned, it helps :) 8. For those whos going to take Interior Design, Painting, Industrial Design and Advertising Arts, this tip is for you!: - May drawing test kayo after, so be creative okay? Okay. 9. Be on time. Go to your testing room 30 minutes BEFORE the USTET starts. You dont want to be late. Trust me, Ive been there. Awkward silence + eyes staring at you. lol BE ON TIME 10. Bring jacket/sweater/cardigan/coat/anything that can keep you warm. Malamig ang mga rooms and di makocontrol yung temp. ng aircon. 11. DONT YOU DARE CHEAT. May CCTV cameras (yes, camera with an S) sa mga testing rooms. Magreview bago mag-exam. 12. Listen to your proctor. 13. TIME MANAGEMENT. Limited time lang ibibigay sa inyo per subject kaya imanage nyo ng mabuti para masagot nyo. 14. Be an optimist. Having a positive thought helps all the time :) 15. PRAY.
