Hi all - I just talked to the Chief and he and his detectives working on the case feel that it is too premature to hold a public meeting given the fact that they are dealing with sensitive information critical to catching the perpetrator. He wanted everyone to know that there are a number of officers in the borough and progress is being made - thats all we can say without compromising the effort of the officers. He reiterated that people should lock their doors and be aware of the activity on their street and call any questions or helpful information in the 569-6401 as soon as possible. On another note, he wanted to stress to anyone in the borough who had concerns about police coverage or anything else to call him at 569-6401 ext. 406. He will be happy to talk or come to your home to discuss your concerns. ANYTHING.
