Hi all! Firstly, I want to say thank you to all my new likers! Welcome :) The reason for this post is to explain a few changes. If youve been watching from the beginning, youll notice that the style of covers Ive been doing, has started to change. Basically, Ive been doing less mainstream (pop) songs and more covers from the punk/rock genre. I know that not everyone will be happy with that, but I would like to point out that lately Ive received quite a number of subscribers on YouTube, lots of views (almost 6,000 on one of my covers) and a whole bunch of new likers to this page. This has been because of those punk covers. A few months ago I decided to experiment by singing with more grit in voice. Ive had a lot of positive feedback on this and for the first time in my life, I feel that Ive found something unique and something that suits where Id like to go with my music. Lastly, if Im honest, punk and rock are truly what I love to cover. Its the genre I spend my time listening to. I feel a little bit fake covering songs that I cant relate to. Im not saying that I wont cover anymore pop songs. I am saying that you can expect more punk/rock covers. I know that I might lose a few people along the way. Unfortunately I cant please everyone. After several weeks of figuring out where Id like to go with this, this is the conclusion Ive come to. I hope that you will continue to walk this journey with me, even through the changes. Finally - Ill most likely start working on a new cover this afternoon - I know its been a while!
