Hi all! Freshmen! And all returning students, welcome back to HKU! It is the start of another academic year and a new opportunity to try something new at HKU! HKU rowing team is one of the strongest university rowing teams in Hong Kong. Our medal haul in 2013 consisted of 12 gold medals, 11 silvers and 9 bronzes from University Varsity Championships and local regattas. Further, our men’s 8+ was awarded the “Men’s Eight of the Year” by Hong Kong China Rowing Association in 2013 for their astonishing achievement. We will be holding a team selection for its men’s rowing team for the forthcoming year at the end of September, you can choose either of these dates to attend the session. Whatever your size, height, strength may be, we welcome everyone to try out for team selection. HKU is very competitive and want you, the best and finest athlete to join us.
