Hi all. I am a first time poster to the page, however I follow it religiously and share as many posts as I can to educate others. Sorry for the extremely long post, but this is for all of the animal lovers out there and kind of a dig at the haters after our terrifying experience with our boy! I just had to share this pic of my son and my fur baby Mason taken today. Mason was in an accident with a car a week ago and we thought we were going to loose him, all the injuries and symptoms lead us to believe this. However after x-rays and other necessary medical check-ups with our amazing vet at 10pm that night we learnt he amazingly had no broken bones, but did need an extensive op to stich and repair muscle and other injuries. He pulled through it all and even though we had so many question us as to why we forked out the bill when laying him to rest would be cheaper our answer was this simple... This dog fought to get back to us that awful night, from the road to our frount step where I found him is a good 5 minute walk away for a healthy human, he has protected my children from a snake and coped a bite and survived, he loves my children and placidly allows them to treat him like a horse, a toy and so much worse,he is a fabulous guard dog as he looks mean and would protect any member of the family if needed, but to us he is our teddy bear, and last but not least, he is our family member and you do not give up on a family member no matter what! I am so greatful that he is here with us today :)
