There comes a point in all black men and womens life that we Feel oppressed. Perseverance is a word that defines the fight that our ancestors had to endure to in order for us to be able to have a place at the table! Collectively as a people we need to rise above the stereo types of our race. BUT as a whole society needs to come together as human beings to rise up against the continued hatred between our races. Our differences is what can make the world a beautiful place, BUT those same differences can also destroy it! I was raised not only to embrace these differences, but to also understand that ignorance breeds fear and fear breeds violence. Naturally people fear what they dont understand. Lets not fear love lets embrace it, embrace it with every fiber of our soul! Lets take the time to learn about others who are different, BUT lets first take the time learn who we are ourselves! Yes there will always be ignorant people and yes there will always be violence that is derived from that ignorance, BUT lets let go and let God.
