Hi all, I am employed at USGS in the climate change geosciences center in Lakewood. I need a few interns that would work in our program as for-credit interns (where we work with CU to give summer credit to undergrads). The position entails gaining experience looking at Landsat data for burned area as a climate variable. We are hoping the applicants have a bit of GIS experience but if not, I would be willing to train them. This has been a great opportunity in the past for undergrads in getting positions with us as paid student interns after the summer (Im not sure what the next fiscal year will entail budget-wise though).
