Hi all, I dont really know the right way to go about this, and part of me feels really uncomfortable in doing this, but I need to and I hope everyone understands... My mom (Lynda Barrett) is currently battling breast cancer and is in a really tight spot financially due to mounting hospital bills and not being able to work consistently. Shes not been able to work for the past couple months due to having 2 surgeries. I de-friended her on Facebook today so I could post this... With that said, we put together a go fund me page for her with the hope that in the power of numbers wed be able gather some money for her to live off (and pay immediate hospital bills) for the next few months while she goes through chemo. Due to the hospital expenses and day to day living without working, shes basically decimated her savings… Im unfortunately not in a position to cover her due to the amount of bills that are coming in. So its basically comes to this. I ask if anyone could pitch in a few dollars towards this fund. I would truly truly appreciate it… And I know its not much but for anyone who donates I will happily buy them a couple drinks at Sweetwater Social. And give the most powerful bear hug theyve ever received. Im sorry if this was long winded and I apologize if this comes across in a bad light.
