Hi all, I will be at the March 31st Art of Active Networking - TopicsExpress

Hi all, I will be at the March 31st Art of Active Networking event but thought in advance Id like to share something with all who happen to be in the film & video community (I happen to be an SFSU BA in Cinema Studies graduate back in 2002). Probably the most important video store in San Francisco, Le Video, is set to close its doors at the end of next month and already the store has been flooded with supporters all around who dont want to see it closed. Its currently looking at an alternative plan to stay open in the short-term and plan for the long-term but its options appear to be limited at this point. For any of you who havent been to Le Video, its got a library of film & video titles, quite a number that are out of print and frankly, too vital for the film community and filmmakers. It has titles not even Netflix has and that says a lot about how credible its been all these years. Its basically the Amoeba Music for video rentals. Given SF has also seen a drop in film activity, Id hate to see Le Video go down under. I can touch base with this briefly at the upcoming AOAN event for any of you who plan on attending then. Any support you can give the video store or anyone you know who can help them out in any way you can (either through fundraising, additional support, etc.), I would greatly appreciate it. This means a lot to me. https://facebook/LeVideoSF
