Hi all Ive been newly diagnosed with hemochromatosis which until now never heard of it! Been feeling totally rotten 4 about 6 mths b4 May when the Dr said Id 2 take time off work. Im a special needs classroom assistant. I had and still have pressure in my head, ringing in my ears, totally exhausted, very breathless, palpitations, blurred vision, jittery, frequently pass urine and diarrhoea, pains in my legs and other joints, cramps in feet and legs ( just started) and headaches. Is all this normal with this disorder? Feel totally rotten. Had 2 venesections so far but last wk the nurses and specialist cudnt get any blood so came home with 2 bandaged arms and gutted it was unsuccessful. I drink plenty of water, another thing Im always thirsty and dont have diabetes. Any advise on helping ur veins preform as going again in the morning? My serum ferritin is 708! Any advise wud b gr8, thank u xx
