Truly saddened right now. Three hours ago a former doctoral classmate Gerald Sseruwagi posted a wonderful picture of himself back home in Africa in his UIW doctoral regalia. I commented on how well he was representing the school, he liked my comment. TWO hours later friends of his was posting he had passed away! It was classmates/friends like Gerald who made my doctoral experience a rewarding one. I learned more from him and others than any textbook could teach. I often quoted him. It was in communications with him that I knew I could leave my comfort zone and explore and experience life. He would tell me that I needed to visit his hometown in Africa and him and wife would be happy to host me. His wife was a beautiful soul that I had the pleasure of meeting. He so looked forward to going home and working with and for his African people as he had done throughout America as a missionary and pastor. And he was doing just that has a pricipal in Rwanda. Gerald may the peace and blessings of God be with your beautiful wife and children during this time
