Hi all, Ive managed to get my 2000 Mk1 running today, but its showing very odd behaviour. It started well. The engine speed went right up quite cleanly, but there was a lot of turbulence in the fuel pump. I couldnt work out where the air was bubbling from, but it all tied down as the engine speed dropped. Spark was good, so the ignition isnt the issue. I have a video Ill try and post, showing it running, the turbulence and then it finally dying with me attempting to restart. The car was running for around 20 minutes before it cut out, and was pretty well up to temperature. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this Id be very pleased. Im getting pretty pissed off with it really. Hasnt been right for nearly a year!!
