Hi all, Just a brief update on progress since my last post. I am stoked to announce the first draft of Act I (the intro) has been completed, and Act II (bulk of the film) is under way. I would like to thank a few of you for your advice and recommending Celtx to me (you know who you are), I will be sure to put you under special thanks! I am also very excited to welcome a director/filmmaker with many award-winning short films under his belt onboard my ambitious mothership project (pun intended). Name to be announce once details are finalised! Here is a little snippet of the first draft below, compliments or constructive critique are welcome! ;) Love Jayemi INT. YOUNG J.J.S ROOM - MORNING Sleeping young Connor comes into focus. Sheronas voice fades in. SHERONA ...Connor. Connor. Young Connor slowly comes to and sees his mothers face, smiling. SHERONA Connor. Wake up. YOUNG CONNOR ...Mom? Young Connor fully comes to and sees Mrs OBrien. MRS OBRIEN Wake up now, its nearly time for school. YOUNG CONNOR (Rubs eyes and sits up straight) ...Where did mom go? MRS OBRIEN (Long pause in SILENCE. Sits down next to young Connor, one arm around him) Oh, sweety... Did you see her in your dreams? YOUNG CONNOR No, I saw her. She was here! MRS OBRIEN (Embrace young Connor by his head, gently rocking) Shhh shhh shhh. Its alright... (fade out)
