Hi all! Logan and I just got up. We didnt get to bed till almost 4am. We had a terrible night. The needle Cape Fear used for his port was way too long, when we got to Duke it wasnt working. They had to take that needle out and put a smaller one in. Oh my gosh. Logan was screaming absolutely bloody murder. God it just made me sick to my stomach to have to make him go through that. I feel horrible for putting him through this. I spoke with Dr. W. This morning and he was talking to me about Logans blood count level. They dont like it to be less than 5 thousand... Logans was 8. That it why they admitted him. They said he may having something viral, but their not sure yet. His levels were checked this morning and they have come up to 80, but he still has a long way to go to get those back to safe levels. So Im sure we will be here for a few days. In the mean time he has IV Fluids and IV meds to help prevent him from getting any infection. Please keep praying for our boy.
